In a nutshell, Rugby is played at a fast pace, with few stoppages and continuous possession changes.
Players on the field must be able to run, pass, catch the ball and also must be able to tackle and
defend, making each position both offensive and defensive in nature. A rugby match consists of two
40- minute halves. Rugby is considered to be a gender equity sport as approximately 25% of all players
in the United States are female.
